Japan ASEI Yaxing Trading Packaging and Logistics Plastic Recycling Project
Release Date:2026-08-28

Customer Overview

ASEI Co., Ltd. is a seasoned Japanese company with over 20 years of expertise in the plastic circular economy, specializing in the recycling and regeneration of post-consumer packaging and logistics materials. The company focuses on high-quality PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic pellets, supplying numerous domestic packaging and logistics manufacturers in Japan, and serving as a key practitioner of Japan’s “horizontal circulation + full circulation” model.

Core Pain Points

1. The Japanese market imposes stringent quality standards for recycled plastics, requiring high-purity pellets with stable performance and strong batch-to-batch consistency that can be directly reused in premium packaging and logistics products; however, conventional recycling equipment often struggles to meet these requirements.

2. The core feedstock—LLDPE film, which is lightweight and fluffy, and PP strapping, which is highly resilient—exhibits markedly different physical properties, making it difficult for standard equipment to simultaneously achieve efficient processing and maintain consistent product quality.

3. To help downstream customers achieve their CO₂ reduction targets, the company must ensure long-term operational stability, scalable production capacity, and high resource recovery rates from its recycling lines.

Purei’s Customized Solution

Addressing the customer’s need to handle multiple material types while meeting high-quality standards, Purei designed a dedicated dual-line solution tailored to each of the two primary recyclable materials:

1. ML130/SJ140 Two-Stage LLDPE Film Recycling Pelletizer: Equipped with a compact granulation feeding system, this machine compresses and preheats the fluffy LLDPE film before feeding it into a two-stage extrusion system. The first stage performs coarse melting and preliminary impurity removal, while the second stage achieves thorough plasticization and exhausts moisture, complemented by a high-precision filter to ensure the purity and uniformity of the recycled film pellets.

2. ML150/SJ160 PP Strapping Recycling Pelletizer: Designed specifically for the tough, abrasion-resistant nature of PP strapping, this line features thickened, wear-resistant screws and a powerful feeding mechanism. A multi-stage filtration die effectively removes contaminants, ink, and surface residues embedded in the strapping, ensuring stable pellet performance and uniform appearance. Both lines comply with Japanese equipment safety standards, incorporate operating logic aligned with local production management practices, and support long-term, stable operation.

Quantified Project Outcomes

  • The LLDPE film line maintains a steady capacity of 500 kg/h, while the PP strapping line delivers 700 kg/h; running both lines continuously for 24 hours yields a combined daily output of 28.8 tons of recycled pellets.
  • Efficient resource recovery from waste packaging films and industrial PP strapping has resulted in an annual reduction of over 8,600 tons of virgin plastic consumption.
  • The recycled pellets boast a purity level of ≥99%, with performance metrics fully meeting the requirements for producing high-end packaging and logistics products, enabling direct reuse in items such as PP strapping, plastic pallets, packaging sheets, and air cushion films.
  • A stable material circulation system helps the customer and downstream manufacturing partners smoothly achieve their annual carbon reduction goals.
