BOPP Film Granulator
Product Overview
The BOPP film granulator is a specialized equipment for recycling and granulating films, launched by the PURUI brand and manufactured in Nantong. This machine features a densifier–pelletizing feeding system that compacts and preheats fluffy waste film before efficiently converting it into high-quality recycled pellets. It can be customized according to customer production requirements, with no fixed price. The equipment adopts an integrated process of densification and single-screw extrusion, enabling direct processing of whole rolls or bundles of film, thus eliminating the need for prior shredding. It also offers advantages such as uniform feeding, efficient plasticization, and excellent venting and dehumidification, effectively addressing common pain points of traditional granulation equipment and providing a stable, reliable solution for recycling and processing waste plastics.
Technical Principle
This equipment employs an integrated densification–single-screw extrusion process to achieve efficient regeneration and granulation of waste films. First, the waste film enters the densifier (pelletizing hopper), where high-speed rotating blades cut and crush the material. Friction at high speeds generates heat, causing the originally fluffy film to contract and compact into uniform pellets. Once the bulk density has significantly increased, the pellets are fed steadily into the extrusion screw, preventing issues like air gaps or slippage during feeding. Subsequently, the pelletized material proceeds to the extrusion stage, undergoing segmented heating and screw shearing to complete melting and plasticization. Multi-stage filtration removes impurities, while venting and dehumidification processes eliminate moisture from the material. Finally, water-cooling and shaping followed by pelletizing yield high-quality recycled pellets with excellent appearance and no air bubbles.

Core Advantages
1. Densifier feeding prevents bridging: With its densifier–pelletizing feeding system, the material is compacted and fed smoothly into the screw, completely resolving issues of air gaps, slippage, and uneven feeding associated with fluffy films, ensuring continuous and stable feeding.
2. Self-friction preheating saves energy: The material achieves self-heating through high-speed friction within the densifier, eliminating the need for additional preheating equipment. This not only enhances plasticization efficiency but also reduces energy consumption by more than 15% per ton processed.
3. Eliminates the need for prior shredding: The machine can directly handle whole rolls or bundles of film without requiring preliminary shredding, reducing labor by 1–2 operators and simplifying the process.
4. Excellent venting and dehumidification: Multi-stage venting and dehumidification effectively remove moisture from the material, resulting in finished pellets with moisture content ≤0.3%, free of air bubbles and with superior appearance, while keeping the defect rate below 3%.
5. Stable and efficient capacity: The standard model covers a capacity range of 100–1500 kg/h, enabling up to 36 tons per day under 24-hour operation. Production scraps can be fully recycled in a closed-loop system, improving resource utilization.
Core Product Value
1. Simplifies production processes, reduces labor input, and lowers overall processing costs.
2. Enhances plasticization efficiency, cuts energy consumption, and enables energy-saving production.
3. Produces high-quality recycled pellets with low defect rates, boosting product market competitiveness.
4. Allows 100% closed-loop recycling of production scraps, improving resource utilization and aligning with eco-friendly manufacturing principles.
5. Offers flexible customization of capacity to meet diverse customer production needs and adapt to various operational scenarios.
Target Customer Groups
Plastic film manufacturers, waste plastic recycling plants, packaging material companies, and renewable resource enterprises—all these businesses generate substantial amounts of waste film that require treatment. This equipment helps them efficiently regenerate waste resources, reduce raw material costs, and improve economic returns.
Application Scenarios
This equipment is suitable for recycling and regenerating various types of waste films, including agricultural greenhouse films, packaging stretch films, industrial BOPP/CPP films, courier plastic bags, heat-shrink films, and other discarded films. Whether used in large-scale waste plastic recycling facilities or for handling edge trimmings in plastic film production plants, this machine can transform fluffy waste film into high-quality recycled pellets, enabling circular resource utilization.
Solutions to Industry Pain Points
1. Addresses issues of air gaps, slippage, and uneven feeding caused by fluffy films: The densifier–pelletizing feeding system compacts the material and feeds it smoothly into the screw, ensuring uniform and stable feeding and preventing production fluctuations due to feeding problems.
2. Solves the problem of increased processes and labor required for prior shredding: The equipment can directly process whole rolls or bundles of film, eliminating the need for separate shredding steps, reducing labor by 1–2 operators, and cutting both labor costs and processing time.
3. Tackles insufficient plasticization and low productivity: The material undergoes self-friction preheating within the densifier, enhancing plasticization efficiency, complemented by screw shearing for complete melting and plasticization, thereby boosting equipment capacity and saving over 15% energy per ton processed.
4. Resolves issues of excessive air bubbles and high defect rates in wet-material granules: Multi-stage venting and dehumidification effectively remove moisture, resulting in finished pellets with moisture content ≤0.3%, free of air bubbles and with excellent appearance, while keeping the defect rate below 3% and improving product quality.
